Fancy font generator

One input, every style at once — pick whichever fancy text fits your bio, caption, or username.

A different trick than glitch text

Fancy text uses a completely different mechanism than our glitch/zalgo generator. Instead of stacking combining marks, it substitutes each letter for a visually distinct character from elsewhere in the Unicode standard — mathematical bold letters, script letters, circled letters, and so on. The result still copies and pastes as plain text; it just looks like a different typeface without actually being one.

Type your text once at the top, and every style below updates live so you can compare and copy whichever one fits.

    Frequently asked questions

What is a fancy font generator?

A tool that swaps normal letters for look-alike Unicode characters (bold, script, circled, and more) so you get styled text that's still plain, copy-pasteable text — not an image or a real font file.

Will fancy text work everywhere I paste it?

Mostly yes — these are standard Unicode characters, supported by virtually all modern apps and operating systems. A handful of very old systems may show a box for less common characters.

Why do some letters look unchanged in some styles?

Unicode has gaps in a few of these blocks — a small number of letters (like small-caps "x" or superscript "q") have no dedicated look-alike character anywhere in the standard, so they display unchanged rather than being silently dropped.
