Cursive font generator

Script-style Unicode letters you can paste into a bio or caption — no font file to install.

Real cursive Unicode characters, not an image

This uses the Unicode "Mathematical Script" character block — a genuine set of cursive-styled letters that exist as real, searchable, copy-pasteable text, not a picture of cursive writing. Two weights are available: a lighter script and a bolder script.

A handful of capital and lowercase letters (like script capital B or lowercase e) sit in a different, older Unicode block for historical reasons — this tool handles that automatically so every letter maps correctly.

    Frequently asked questions

Is this a real cursive font?

No font file is involved — it's Unicode text using script-styled character code points, so it works as plain copy-paste text everywhere, unlike an actual installed font.

Does cursive text work on Instagram and TikTok bios?

Yes, both platforms render standard Unicode characters, including the script block this tool uses.

Why does cursive text look different in different apps?

The exact shape of each character is drawn by the app's own font, so spacing and style can vary slightly between apps even though the underlying character is identical.
